Stevenson Holistic Care Foundation (SHCF) is in Consultative Status with the United Nations-ECOSOC
Stevenson Holistic Care Foundation (SHCF) is an indigenous and legally registered not-for-profit organization founded in 2012 out of a common interest of a group of development professionals driven by their commitment to God and humanity.
The organization’s activities are focused on 4 thematic areas of Health, Climate action, Water and Sanitation. We adopt a systems approach to providing development solutions across sectors from the four core sectors of focus. The idea is to make development sustainable while addressing socio-economic pain-points of our communities among others. Our integrated pro-poor actions are geared towards promoting access to wellbeing for the people. Our greatest concern is caring for the total man
While we value strategic partnerships, we work with other development-minded organizations, peoples and individuals (especially Valueshore Global Resources, Synergy Wellcare Medicaid Ltd, Federal Ministry of Health
& Environment, PROBUS & Community Resource Development Foundation (CREDEF)) in carrying out our interventions in Nigerian communities. Our partnerships encourage strength-sharing and resource-leveraging in our sustainable development efforts.
For better results in all of these, we do mainstream gender inclusion, conflict sensitivity and general safety in our activities, while anchoring the processes and deliveries on result-based monitoring, evaluation and learning (MEL) frameworks. Our actions are guided by our core values of integrity, professionalism, prompt service delivery and respect.
We have an organized structure comprising of a strong Board of Trustees, an experienced management team, a fully boarded program unit and an efficient finance and administration unit. Our financial management is anchored on a standard accounting system that is tested and proven.
With our head office primarily located in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, we have other field-based offices scattered across and beyond the state, leveraging also from our strong partnerships network built over time.
